1. Who we are

Tripbae ("we", "us", "our") is an all-in-one travel app built and operated from India. You can reach us at hello@tripbae.in.

2. What we collect

We collect only what's necessary to make the app work:

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign up.
• Trip data — itineraries, expenses, and photos you create or upload inside the app.
• Location — only when you use features that need it (nearby stays, hospitals, rentals). We never track your location in the background.
• Device information — basic info like OS version and app version for crash reporting and compatibility.

3. What we don't collect

• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not serve ads or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not track your behaviour across other apps or websites.
• We do not store your payment details — payments are handled entirely by Google Play.

4. How we use your data

• To provide and improve the Tripbae app and its features.
• To sync your trips across your devices.
• To share trip data (expenses, photos, itineraries) with the travel group members you invite.
• To send you product updates — only if you opt in.

5. Shared trips & group data

When you create a group trip, other members you invite can see the shared expenses, photos, and itinerary for that trip. You control who is invited. Removing someone from a group removes their access going forward.

6. Data security

All trip data — including photos and expenses — is end-to-end encrypted. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information in transit and at rest.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@tripbae.in. We'll process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Third-party services

Tripbae uses a limited set of trusted third-party services to operate:

• AI services — to power Lumi, our AI travel planner.
• Cloud infrastructure — for secure data storage and sync.
• Analytics — anonymised crash and performance data only, to fix bugs.

None of these services receive your personal data for advertising purposes.

9. Children's privacy

Tripbae is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@tripbae.in.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you through the app or via email before the changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
